Hoping for a better tomorrow!
Hello everyone and welcome to our small shop! We are excited to be a part of your health and wellness journey! We have been on a life-long journey ourselves as God has led us in the path of bettering what we are putting into and onto ourselves. We have a long story, but the short of it is: God is in control of everything we are experiencing in our lives - the good and at times the not so good...All things point us in the direction He chooses for us to go. That direction happened to be a series of better choices and an awareness of what he has put around us - the plants and everything that can help our families live off the land that God has provided for us.
Our Story
We have been blessed with a beautiful family including our children and grandchildren. Life has not been easy but we are so thankful for God who has been there to help us through all that we have gone through! We have been married for 20 years now and I feel completely blessed. And, through the ups and downs, God has been faithful to draw us closer together. Our health journey is just that...a journey that God brings us through to draw us closer to Him and closer to those around us. He is faithful to bring us through whatever life throws at us - the good, the bad, and the ugly! He is so much bigger than all of that!!

Tim's Journey - The Cliff Notes
Three years after we were married Tim began experiencing some health issues. We went to the doctor and began their protocol on getting him better. Unfortunately the things they were giving him were not actually helping him, in fact, they were making it much worse and causing more damage.

But God....God had other plans and started to impart the knowledge of the plants and modalities (including reflexology and massage) around us and how they could help with what he was going through. They helped immensely but didn't fix what was going on, but it gave us some time and God in his faithfulness used a friend to send us an article that he read first then sent to me and were so compelled we decided to move forward. With a lot of frustration at the system and our demand to send us to a place set up for what he had, eventually we ended up in a place that was able to test my husband for what we were pretty sure he had. Bingo! He had what we suspected - he had primary aldosteronism. So, that meant all the blood pressure medicine they were giving him was actually making the condition worse and causing damage to his heart - so much damage he ended up with congestive heart failure.
But God.....agian, God had a different plan. He had a tumor on his adrenal gland that was constantly keeping his body in the fight or flight mode. We were finally able to get the tumor removed and allow his body to begin to heal. He was able to lose some weight but always seemed to gain it back. It was a frustrating position to be in to say the least. We continued the supplements and teas that helped his body to heal. One year ago he began his journey to losing weight. Praise God, he has lost about 150 lbs. in 1 year. He is feeling so much better and is able to have energy to do things with our children and grandchildren that he has not been able to do for several years. That being said, we continue to adjust his medicine based on his needs at the time - a journey according to what is needed at that time.

My Story - The Cliff Notes
Well, my story begins before I married my husband...I young and at home and got a terrible cough and congestions. My father told me to go out to the yard (it was in the middle of winter) and pick some raspberry twigs, boil them in water, strain them out and add some honey! I did and it was so amazing the difference that I asked my Dad where he learned that from!?!? He said he learned it from my Grandmother (his mother) and that she knew all kinds of things like that! Boom, I was hooked!! I didn't know much about plants yet and how they interact and help us to heal but I knew then that helping people with plants to heal is what I wanted to do!

I also struggled with some health issues and tried the health system to only be frustrated at the results so I began using herbs myself to help heal my body. In 2021 God prompted me to go in and have a physical. So, during the height of COVID, I had a test done and it came back positive - I had CIN-3 (this is the stage before cervical dysplasia turns into cervical cancer). I had a procedure to determine more about it and was told I needed a procedure to cut away the problem areas. God did not give me peace about that at all. I listened and decided to wait. I also put myself on a diet that God imparted on me: No dairy, no gluten, and low sugar: natural sugar if I had it. God in His faithfulness brought a sister of Christ that I was already good friends with to a birthday party for my son. She told me about the natural healing procedure that she had that completely healed her.....I mean, completely!! I was so intrigued that I found someone closer to me that did the same procedure and set up an appointment. Due to the craziness of COVID, my appointment kept getting pushed back. I decided that God was trying to work so I was patient! Eventually I did get the appointment
